Using the website

The Melta MK1 is still in development. Specifications, images and prices on the site describe our current design and target, and can change before the printer ships. The retail price is not set yet; less than €999 is our target.

Do not use the site unlawfully, interfere with how it works, or send automated or bulk requests to its forms. The text, images, videos and logos on the site belong to Melt 3D s.r.o. or its licensors. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a credit to Melt3D. Any other reuse needs our written permission.

Reservations

What a reservation is

A reservation costs 1 € per printer, and you can reserve up to 5 printers in one checkout. Each reserved printer holds 10% off the Melta MK1 when our Kickstarter campaign launches. The launch date is not set yet.

A reservation is not an order for a printer. It does not oblige you to buy one, and it does not oblige us to make the campaign happen.

How a reservation is made

Checkout runs on Stripe. The contract for your reservation is made when your payment is confirmed, and Stripe emails you a receipt. If your payment method takes a few days to settle, the reservation starts once the payment clears. If the payment fails, no contract is made.

What happens next

Before the Kickstarter campaign starts, we email you at the address you used at checkout with how to claim your discount. A pledge on Kickstarter is a separate agreement, governed by the campaign page and Kickstarter's own terms.

If we cancel the Melta MK1 or do not run the campaign, we refund every open reservation in full without you having to ask.

Refunds

Reservations are fully refundable. How to cancel one, and your statutory right of withdrawal, are described on the returns and refunds page.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law. Apart from that, our total liability to you in connection with a reservation is limited to the amount you paid for it. The limit does not apply where the law does not allow one, such as harm caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or harm to life or health.

Law and disputes

These terms and every reservation are governed by Czech law, in particular Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of that country's law, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

If something goes wrong, write to info@melt3d.eu first, and we will try to put it right. As a consumer you can also turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2, for out-of-court resolution of a dispute with us: adr.coi.cz.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we start selling printers. The version published when you made a reservation applies to that reservation, unless a later change is only in your favour.
