Returns and refunds
Last updated 14 October 2026
For now, the only thing sold on melt3d.eu is the 1 € Melta MK1 reservation. This page explains how to get that money back, and what will apply once printers go on sale. The terms of service cover the rest.
Cancelling a reservation
A reservation is fully refundable. You can cancel it for any reason at any time until you claim its discount.
- Email info@melt3d.eu from the address you used at checkout, or tell us that address, and say how many reservations you want to cancel. You can cancel some of them and keep the rest.
- We refund the full amount you paid for them to your original payment method within 14 days of your email, at no cost to you. Your bank can take a few more days to show it.
- Cancelling ends the 10% discount those reservations held.
Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer, you can withdraw from a contract made online within 14 days of making it, without giving a reason (Section 1829 of the Czech Civil Code). For a reservation, cancelling as described above does the same and is open for longer. To withdraw, tell us clearly, for example by email to info@melt3d.eu. We then refund everything you paid without undue delay, and within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal at the latest, using the payment method you used.
If we cancel
If we cancel the Melta MK1 or do not run the Kickstarter campaign, we refund every open reservation in full without you having to ask.
Printers
Printers are not sold on this website yet. When the Melta MK1 launches on Kickstarter, the campaign page and Kickstarter's terms set out the rules for your pledge, including refunds.
When we sell printers directly, you will have 14 days from delivery to return one without giving a reason, and the statutory 24 month warranty for defects under the Czech Civil Code. This page will give the details, including how to send a printer back, before those sales start.
